Remembering you this Mother's Day Alice Eaton Nov– 29, 1920 - May 2, 2006 I remember the day I met you The day God made you mine I remember the day I lost you And will 'til the end of time– We made our vows together And said 'until death do us part' So when God came and took your hand My whole world fell apart– When I look back upon our lives It makes me so glad That you chose me as your husband To share with you the precious years we had– If all that life has given me And all that's left to do I never had a greater gift Than the years I spent with you– A part of my heart you took with you But you left me your love to keep So we will never really be apart The bond between us is too deep– Remembered with love by your husband Don There is a bridge of memories From here to Heaven above It keeps you very close to us It's called the Bridge of Love– Our hearts are full of memories We treasure them with care The way you had to leave us Will always seem unfair You did not deserve what you went through And so he gave you rest God's garden must be beautiful He only takes the best– You gave us all so many things Gifts both great and small But most of all you gave us love The greatest gift of all– In all that life has given us And all that's left to do We will never have a greater gift Than the time we spent with you– With love from Children Fern, Charles, Donna and families
