Remembering you this Mother's Day Alice Eaton Nov– 29, 1920 - May 2, 2006 I remember the day I met you And the day God made you mine I remember the day God took you And I will 'til the end of time– We made our vows together Until death do us part– But the day God took you from me My whole world fell apart– Sometimes I think I'm dreaming I can't believe it's true That I can go on living When I no longer have you– Each time I see your picture You seem to smile and say Don't cry, I'm always with you We'll meet again some day– In life I loved you dearly In death I love you still Because I'll love you always And I always will– Always loved and remembered husband, Don– You can only have one mother, Patient, kind and true, No other friend in all the world, Will be the same to you When other friends forsake you, To mother you will return, For all her loving kindness, She asks nothing in return– As we look upon her picture, Sweet memories we recall, Of a face so full of sunshine, And a smile for one and all– Sweet Jesus, take this message, To our dear mother up above, Tell her how we miss her, And give her all our love– Love you always your children Fern, Donna, Charles and families and grand, great grand, and great great grand children–
