LETASSEY, Jean (John) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 74 years of age. Loving husband for 48 years of Patricia (nee Britton) of Montreal. Beloved father of Mark (Cecile) and Laura. Proud grandpa of Pamela. Survived by his sister Yvonne (Gaston) and predeceased by his sister Gilberte and parents Emile and Alice. John was born and raised in Normandy, France. He migrated to Canada in 1959 and was a long time employee of Goodyear Tire in Mimico and co-proprietor of Rivercourt Kennels in Aurora. Friends and family called at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street S., Newmarket on Wednesday, December 5th from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge Street, Aurora on Thursday, December 6th at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill.
