SIMPSON, Mary Elizabeth (nee McRae) Peacefully passed away with family by her side at Riverside Glen Long Term Care in Guelph on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Simpson. Loving mother of Janet Rimmer of Guelph and Wayne Simpson (Anne Drozdz) of Burlington. Loved Grandma of Kristi and Kimberley (Jon Drohan). Predeceased by her siblings Harry McRae and Dorothy Radons. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 4 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment Greenwood Cemetery on Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Foundation or the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
