David Glyndwr LOCKYER

LOCKYER, David Glyndwr Passed away at Guelph General Hospital on January 3, 2013. David was born in Neath, Wales on August 24, 1921. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Winfred Lockyer who died May 17, 2009 after 63 years of marriage together. He is survived by his three children, Michael, Megan and Nigel; ten grandchildren and two great-grand- children. David was a Veteran of World War II. He served in the Royal Air Force where he flew with 158 Squadron. He and his family immigrated to Canada in 1957. After living in several areas of Canada and the USA, he and Mary settled and finally retired in Guelph amongst their many friends. David was a respected and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed. David will be interred beside his wife in Woodlawn Memorial Park "It broke our hearts to lose you. Though you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God took you home".
