COLLINS, Charles Byron July 7, 1929 - January 2, 2013 Charles (Chuck) Collins, the only son of Tannis and Charles Collins, and beloved husband of Doreen Collins, and his predeceased first wife Eva, of 51 years. The loving father of Tannis (Jack) Redekop, Terri (Doug) Parker and Kent (Cathie) Collins and was called to the Lord January 2, 2013 at the age of 83 years, following a courageous battle with lung cancer at St. Mary's Hospital in Camrose, AB. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jon and Jay Redekop, Deonne (Cedric) and daughter Zelie Eulliot, Brett, Jeff (Janna) and Jordan (Megan) Parker; Dylan, Alesha and Tori-Anne Collins. A very special cousin Avis (Bill) Carr; sister-in-law Betty-Joan Rutherford; extended families the Rutherford's and the Bentley's. Doreen's family Joanne Nyback, Sharon (Doug) Hinecker, Ron Nyback and their children and grandchildren who loved Papa Chuck. Chuck was predeceased by his parents Tannis and Charles Collins; wife Eva Collins (Rutherford) in 2005; his dear granddaughter Janelle Redekop; Eva's siblings Vivian Collins, Alvin (Edna) Rutherford and Bill Rutherford. The family invites everyone to share in the celebration of Chuck's life at 2:00 p.m. January 11, 2013 at the Forestburg Community Centre.
