ROY-PROULX, Lorraine The family announces with sorrow, her death after a short illness on January 9, 2013, at Kitchener, at the age of 88 years. Born April 27, 1924 in Cobalt, Ontario. Loving daughter of the late Fortunat Roy and Lucia DeRepentigny. Cherished wife of the late Leopold Proulx. She will be greatly missed by her children Richard Proulx (wife Pauline); Marcel Proulx (wife Shirley); Carole McNamara (husband Clifford predeceased) of Kitchener; Claudette Foucault (husband) Daniel of Sudbury. Loving sister to the late Ronald Roy (wife Rita predeceased), the late Georgette Goulet (husband Yvon), Jeanette Mayer (husband Albert predeceased), May Gallant (husband Guy), Gerry Roy, Fernand Roy (wife Claudette). Dear sister-in-law to Aldege Prevost (wife Yvette pre-deceased); Aurele Proulx (wife Marie predeceased); Mathias Proulx (wife Aline). Loving grandmother to Marc, Charlene, Raymond, Richard, Jenna, Denis, Line, Michel, Donald, Alain, Tracy, Robert, Jason, Lorianne and Andrei. Loving great-grandmother to Amber, Dee Ana, Taylor, Carter, Natacha, Emilia, Addison, Aidan, Isabella. Cremation has taken place and arrangements entrusted to Westmount Funeral Chapel (1001 Ottawa St. 519-743-8900). Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church (305 Laurentian Drive), followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the CNIB or The Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
