FRANCEY, David Wellington February 7, 1931 - January 9, 2013 David W. Francey, 81, of Milton, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. He is deeply missed by his wife of 58 years, Marlene, and their children William (Carole), Stephanie (Zoltan), Michael, Julia (James Leslie), Kevin, Katherine (the late Brian James), their grandchildren Stacey (Lee), Geoffry, Mathieu and Patrick and their great grandson Tyson. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law, brother's-in-law, nieces and nephews. David is predeceased by his parents William and Ina, his sisters; Gloria (James), Shirley (Peter), Mae and his brother Wayne (Brenda) all of Gravenhurst, Ontario. David proudly served in the Royal Canadian Armed Forces in Korea. David served in all aspects of the food services at the Ontario School for the Deaf in Milton for 31 years, retiring as the foodservices manager in 1996. David was a member of the St. Clair Masonic Lodge in Milton. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME 114 Main St. Milton 905-878-4452 from 7-9 pm on Friday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:00 am. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
