SIMOLA, Beatrice Emily Passed away peacefully, January 8, 2013 at Oak Bay Lodge, Victoria, BC. Born in 1914 in Wales, Bea would have been 99 on February 2nd. She spent most of her adult life in Toronto, London and Guelph, Ontario. She 'retired' to Victoria in 2001. Bea loved music, regularly attending symphony concerts and sang in church choirs. She was well read, and was particularly fond of politics, current and financial affairs. She had three sons (John, Terry and Ron) by her first marriage to John Cox (d 1949) and two sons (Peter and Paul) by her second marriage to Charles Simola (d 1992). She is survived by her five sons and six grandchildren (Andrew, Sarah, Kate, Joy, Megan and Natalia). There will be a lunch for family and close friends to celebrate Bea's life.
