PUNNETT, Veronica December 14, 1940 ~ May 10, 2015 The centre stage has now become very quiet as its lead character takes her final bow. A standing ovation for an extraordinary woman who was given the gift of an amazing life filled with many adventures and a magnitude of friends. She utilized every drop of life and savoured its full potential. When given a diagnosis, she chose to embrace her disease head on, and gallantly battled fearlessly for many more years than expected. Her fervent spirit will guide her family for whom she instilled the gifts of tenacity, spirit, and humour always. She asked that family and friends not mourn her death, but raise a glass and toast her LIFE. She holds court now in a wonderful place… music, laughter and love guaranteed with those who headed on to the party before her. We invite you to join and celebrate her life with us on May 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. John's Anglican Church in Elora with a reception to follow. Veronica received wonderful care and treatment at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Though flowers are a beautiful tribute, a donation for the continued research and treatment in all cancers, would therefore be greatly appreciated in lieu of. "Why do we get all this life if we don't ever use it? Why do we get all these feelings and dreams and hopes if we don't ever use them?" ~ Shirley Valentine
