Jack LEE

LEE, Jack April 28, 1938 - October 7, 2015 It is with profound sadness that we announce that Jack Lee passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 7th. Jack fought hard for several weeks in the hospital but a combination of complications created a perfect storm against which he could not survive. Predeceased by parents Archie and Winn Lee. Jack is survived by his wife Lorraine who cherished him every day, much loved daughters Karen Hornby (Bob), Nancy Coker (Jeff), stepsons Brett Rivers (Stacey), and Andrew Rivers (Jen). Jack was the loving Grandpa of Matt Hornby (Stacy) and Janine Veenendaal (Tyler). Special Papa to Brayden and Maddison Rivers. Papa Jack to Nathan and Great-grandpa to Lillyan. Survived by his cousins Alvin Lee, Doris Chidley, Edna Spence (Earl), Donna McIntyre (Ron), Janice Stephens (Brad), Ken Lee (April), Bobby Lee (Debbie), Ron Lee, Pat Lee and Jim Lee. Also sadly missed by Bruce and Luray Powell and family. Lovingly remembered by his "Stewart" family. Sorely missed by the orienteering community, his fellow educators, his Thursday night "pub buddies", and many other people whose lives he touched every day. A Celebration of Life, "Open House", will be held Saturday, October 17th, from 2 p.m - 5 p.m. at the Hamilton Conservation Authority main office at 838 Mineral Springs Rd., Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hamilton Conservation Foundation. Please share your condolences at www.heart2soul.com/connect/JackLeeCondolences
