THOMPSON, Bruce Passed away on August 25th at Rouge Valley Centenary with family by his side. Bruce will be lovingly remembered by Barbara, his wife of 68 years. He also leaves behind his family, Andy of Brookfield CT, Steve and Stacey of Lindsay ON, David and Manuela of Port Perry ON. Cherished grandfather to Kristen, Scott, Devin, Brennan and Aaron. Bruce was a carpenter and cabinet maker by trade and was employed by the Scarborough Board of Education for 30 plus years. He and Barb also enjoyed 28 years of retirement with his main loves and interests including his family, friends, the cottage and trips to Florida. In his later years, he also enjoyed, flying, model airplane building, linking with friends and family via the computer as well as cooking. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private Celebration of Life with family and friends. If desired, donations to the Ontario Lung Association may be made by at: www.on.lung.ca/donatenow
