COLPITTS, Les It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Les after a brief illness at Hamilton General Hospital, on his 74th birthday on April 2, 2018. Beloved husband of Sandra for 53 years. Very special dad to Tammy Colpitts-Allen (Wendy). Cherished grandpa to Shawn and Brad, twin brother to Ches (Diane), sister Susan Goddard (Gary). Predeceased by brothers Harold and Delbert. Les will be missed by sister-in-law Debbie Bulloch, Mary Jo Cox, Zak and Bailey, many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend Ron Moore. Les was born in New Brunswick and moved to Ontario at the age of 17. His first job was at Roberts-Gordon in Grimsby. He worked at Wentworth Mold & Die for 37.5 years. He was a well-known door man at the Hunt Club, Teddy's and the Grimsby Legion. He was a former trainer for the Grimsby Peach King Club. Les had a passion for bowling, golf, fishing, and his beloved Toronto Blue Jays. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) was held Friday, April 6, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at the Grimsby Royal Canadian Legion, 233 Elizabeth St, Grimsby.
