R. ARMSTRONG Obituary

ARMSTRONG, R. Kenneth ""Ken"" June 10, 1937 - January 11, 2019 It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Ken Armstrong; the beloved husband of Pat Armstrong (nee Boothby) for 54 years, their children Pat and Brandon, Rob and Karen, Lesley and Gary, Barb and Rick, Susan and Jeremy, Brent and Sandra, nineteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. After 30 years of teaching in St. Catharines and many years spent farming in Vineland, Ken and Pat retired to Huntsville. Ken had many passions including flying, painting, boating, garage sailing, curling and volunteering with the Air Cadets in Welland; but most important to him was his family. Many thanks to Dr. Rea, the CCAC and the staff and volunteers at Algonquin Grace Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Huntsville would be appreciated. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Billingsley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Messages of condolence can be left at www.billingsleyfuneralhomd.com

I recently learned of Ken Armstrong's passing and would like to pass on my condolensces to the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Pat & Ken through my employment at Grantham High School and consider them to be friends of mine even though we lost track of each other. I would sincerely appreciate if you would ask Pat to contact me or forward her address to me. My number is 905-937-3638 in St. Catharines. I have remarried my name now being Beverly Mallette, 498 Niagara St. St.Catharines
