Mona McFarlane Obituary

Mona McFarlane ""We are all what we are because of who she was. Thank you, Mom. God speed."" Our Lioness of the North, born in Oban Scotland on June 26, 1935 passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2019 surrounded and supported by her loving family. Mona will be greatly missed, adored and remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, auntie and dear friend. Mo was an avid skier, tennis player, dancer, beach walker, sometime kayaker as well as a G & T and Mimosa enthusiast and was blessed with a charming smile, mischievous twinkle in her eye, a sharp wit and a caring nature which she unselfishly shared with everyone she met. A celebration of Mo's life will be arranged for a future date in Mansfield, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations to Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood ON, are greatly appreciated.
