Douglas ROSE Obituary

ROSE, Douglas ""Rosey"" With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Douglas Raymond Rose (Rosey), on April 20, 2019, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family and loved ones at the age of 63 years old. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 39 years, Marilyn Rose (n? Jarvis), his children Crystal Rose (Jason), Amanda Bodden (Nelson), loved papa to Emrie, Brooke and Kayla. Beloved brother to Joe Rose (Tracy), Dennis Rose (Karen), Dianne McConnell (Paul), and an uncle and great-uncle to many. Douglas was predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and Audrey Rose. Rosey loved hunting, fishing, and was a true outdoorsmen. His other passions included hockey, baseball, horseshoes, and cards. He was always working and loved to help others. And when he wasn't in the garage moseying around, Rosey enjoyed his toys! He was the epitome of work hard, Play harder! Rosey was a member of the Goose Lake Hunt Camp and the Hespeler Legion. He will forever be missed. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26th at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge from 1-4 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life to be held on Sunday, April 28th at Hespeler Legion Branch #272, 26 Schofield St., Cambridge from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Douglas may be made to a charity of your choice.
