GRAY, Gerald John Martin "Gerry" Passed away after a long struggle, on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, with family at his side. Gerry of Peterborough, at 84 years of age. Beloved husband of June (nee Hamilton) for 63 years. Loving father of Lisa Jessup (Joe), and Tracy Mock (late Robert). Dear grandfather of Riley, Corey and Jacob. Son of the late John and Jeanne Gray, brother of the late Peter and Deborah Ann Gray. Much loved uncle of Shelly Sisson (Robert). Gerry will be remembered by many other relatives, friends and his dog "Charlie". He is now re-united with his beloved four-legged friend "Winston". Gerry retired from his work as a draftsman at CGE after 40 plus years, and then opened Kompatible Products Computer Store in Bridgenorth. He was an avid wildlife photographer, who enjoyed developing his own photos and printing them himself in large sizes. He was an accomplished computer developer, designer and programmer and taught computer courses at Fleming College. He had a wide array of interests including aerodynamics, airplanes and helicopters, and loved keeping up with the newest advancements in technology. He worked as a D.J. as a young man and enjoyed music and getting people dancing. He built his own house, built his own iron railings and was a Jack-of-all-Trades. Gerry was mostly self taught, and was always reading, learning and creating. Cremation entrusted to Community Alternative Funeral Home. Following Gerry's wishes, no service will be held, but donations to the Peterborough Humane Society or the Autism Society of Peterborough, in Gerry's memory would be appreciated.
