Einar WESETVIK Obituary

WESETVIK, Einar Edward 1936-2019 Died peacefully at his home in Picton, Ontario. Edward was born in Bergen, Norway to Mikael and Ida Wesetvik. He boldly ventured to Canada in 1968 with wife , Margaret and infant daughter Suzanne to embark on new challenges in a new country that resulted in a successful career in Capital Market Compliance. While living in Etobicoke and raising a family, he voluntarily helped in getting ""LAMP"" established at 185 Fifth Street, also helped recruit the medical and office staff for the project, many of whom went on to successful careers from there. In retirement he went to live in Picton, fittingly, Prince Edward County, and made many wonderful friendships there, they offered great comfort and fellowship. Edward was a world traveler, always an elegant, refined, cultured gentleman, who had a quiet way of making a point. Predeceased by brother Magne Wesetvik and sister Solveig Dyregrov, both of Norway. 'Bestee ' will be greatly missed by daughter Suzanne (Jim Campbell) Myles Wesetvik (Chaela Walker) his treasured grandchildren Sadie and Esm? Campbell, Brody and Leah Wesetvik, all his nieces and nephews and their offspring in Norway, as well as his in-laws Ireland. A private graveside service was held at the Quaker Cemetery, Bloomfield, Ontario. If desired, donations could be made to the Gilead Fellowship, Picton, or the County of Prince Edward library, 'Time to Renew'. Thank you May Edward Rest In Peace .
