Paul LEATHERBARROW Obituary

LEATHERBARROW, Paul We are heartbroken by the sudden passing, of Paul Leatherbarrow, on August 16, 2019, at the age of 67. Paul was born July 5, 1952, and raised in Elora. Paul was the loving husband, of over 21 years, to Karen (nee Evans), father to Nate (Anissa), EJ (Ashley), John and Kate (Elio), grandfather to Milo, Julian and Remi and Harrison, Clinton and Ethan, brother to Lezley (Mike), Liz, Robin (Louis), Shelagh (Rick), John and Dodi, and brother-in-law to Cathy and Eric (Margot). Paul was a respected poultryman, with 50 years of experience in the industry, where he particularly enjoyed work in the barns alongside his fellow farmers and colleagues. He was particularly fascinated by innovation in the industry and travelled internationally to bring to Ontario the technologies he learned of abroad. Paul will be missed by his colleagues at Clark Companies where he spent over 20 years of his career. Paul's greatest joys in life were golfing, reading and, above all else, his relationships with his family and many friends. He loved unconditionally and was so very proud of all of his children and the people he helped them become. Paul was best known as an unrelenting tease and for his tireless efforts to keep you laughing. As a tribute to Paul, tell a joke, play a prank, and love with abandon. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21st at the Caledonia Lions Community Centre. In Paul's memory, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, 1510 Main Street West, Hamilton, ON L8S 1E3. www.rhbanderson.com
