David ROBERTSON Obituary

ROBERTSON, David Peacefully with family by his side, on Tuesday, October 8, Dave passed away in his 81st year, after an 8 year battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA). Beloved husband of 57 years to the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Janette (nee) Tofani. Proud father of Brad and his wife Linda. Cherished grandfather to his three wonderful grandsons, Connor, Chandler and Bryce. Predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer. Will be sadly missed by his sister Marleen Ward (late Don) and his brothers, Ralph (late Linda) Bob (Bev), Dan (late Anita) and sister-in- law Joanne McClymont. Predeceased by his sisters, Bette Fraser, June Markle and Margaret Iampietro. Dave was a dedicated employee of Stelco for 38 1/2 years, he started as an apprentice and retired as Foreman of the Electric Shop. An avid golfer and long standing member of Dundas Valley G & C Club. Dave was not just a handy man, he was creative and meticulous in his work. He could repair, rebuild or invent anything he put his mind to. For those who wish, donations in memory of Dave can be made to Baycrest Foundation, 3560 Bathurst St. 2nd Floor, Toronto ON, M6A 2E1. It is important that you indicate that your donation is to go to ""Regina Jokel for her PPA Program"". A celebration of Dave's life will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 3rd at Dundas Valley Golf & C Club, 10 Woodley's Lane, Dundas, ON. www. dermodys.com
