Rosemary BARNES Obituary

BARNES, Rosemary Gilmour (Jill) November 26, 1920 - October 11, 2019 It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of ""Jill"" in her 99th year. Jill was the loving wife and partner in adventure and travel of Mervyn Barnes, predeceased March 26, 2012. Dearly loved Mum of Richard (Mary Ann), Tim, and Marnie. Devoted grandmother to Melissa, Jake, Jaclyn, and Michael, and step-grandmother to Tara and Tom. Proud great-grandmother to Thomas, Alexis, Austin and Farrah, and honoured step-great-grandmother to Cole, Bailey and Madison. Jill exemplified how to live life to the fullest as a great adventurer, an avid bridge player, a technology whiz, and an eternal optimist. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and extended family from Montserrat BWI, Mexico, the U.K., Canada, and beyond. Many thanks to the caring staff at Joseph Brant Hospital ICU, and to the wonderful support provided over the years by Cathy and Dave. Cremation has taken place. Please join us in a celebration of Jill's full life on Sunday, November 17, 2019 between 2 and 5 p.m., at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME , 146 Mill St. N. Waterdown. Please sign the Tribute Wall at kitchingsteepeandludwig.com
