DELL, Nicole Charlane (1969 - 2019) Recipient of the 1999 Ontario Good Citizenship Award, Nicole passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019, with her mother Charlane Shortt and sister Angela Dell by her side and step mother Sharon Chimming near by. The kindest and most generous person, Nicole was a pillar to her community. Never wanting to miss an opportunity, Nicole gave flowers to the Queen, trained for Special Olympics in swimming, helped to build a baseball league for her peers, sold Girl Guide cookies and knew the age of every baby she came across (including her favourites Owen, Max, Karsen and Charlie Brown). She volunteered with young and old, loved to travel and to gamble. Many a sushi bar will miss her too. Special mentions to Monica, Teresa, Lorraine, Lauren and all her peers at Sunrise. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. McAllister and her palliative team. Nicole is predeceased by her mother, Jadwiga Dell (née Staby d.2010) and her brothers Michael (d.2017) and Steven (d.2005). Nicole loved each moment in life to the fullest. She will be so missed. A private interment will take place. Donations to Sunrise Youth Group (http://sunriseyouthgroup.ca/) or the Canadian Kidney Foundation in Nicole's honour will be appreciated.
