SCHMIDT, Harry Passed away at Guelph General Hospital on December 30, 2009 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Nancy, loving father of Brenda (Rob) of Calgary, Kevin (Barb) of Vancouver, Darren of Ottawa and Allyson (John) of Kitchener. Loving grandpa to Jordan, Lauryn and Ireland. Pre- deceased by brother, Alvin, sisters, Alberta and Helen. Survived by sister, Anita McCully of Toronto. Harry worked for 28 years with General Motors as Manager of the Parts Department. He was an accomplished wood worker and avid gardener. But most of all, Dad loved spending weekends and holidays with his family at Port Elgin, enjoying the beach, fishing the Saugeen River and tending his garden at the trailer park. Our thanks to the 5th floor nursing staff and doctors at the Guelph General and those dedicated individuals at Lapointe-Fisher Nursing Home, where Dad resided for the past five years. Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 255 Woolwich St., Guelph on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the
