LAW, Francis (Frank) Dad finally got his wish to go join his beloved wife, the late Florence (nee McLean) who he dearly missed. Frank passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, February 6 2010 in his 88th year. Loved father of Diane (Maurice) Legault, Fred (Brenda) Law, Brenda (Gary) Foster, George and Gary Law. Loving grandfather of Lori, Terri-Lyn, Jennifer, Jason, Jennifer, Denise and Hannah. Great grandfather of nine great grandchildren. Dear brother of Henry, Ronald, Raymond, Orma and Vinal. Also survived by a sister-in-law Margaret and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Frederick and sisters Irene, Udora and Ruby. Frank served overseas during the Second World War with the 2nd Division Scottish Essex. He was also a life member of the Guelph Racing Pigeon Club. Friends will be received at the WALL- CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Tuesday (2-4 & 7-9 p.m.) and Wednesday 1 hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at 2p.m.. (Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Sick Kid’s Hospital would be appreciated. The Royal Canadian Legion Col. John McCrae Branch No. 234 will hold a service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m..
A tree will be planted in memory of Frank Law in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2:30 pm.
