How do I place a print announcement ad using LifeNews.ca?
Placing your ad in one of our local newspapers is a great way to ensure your friends and family get to share in your LifeNews. It is important to note that print ads are placed for an additional fee, which will be explained to you by the newspaper rep that will call you to confirm the details of your print ad. All print ads come with 60 words and a photo, if one is supplied. After your print announcement has been confirmed, it will then be placed in the next printed issue of your selected newspaper.
To place an announcement in print, you may also call your local Metroland newspaper customer service group directly, and they will walk you through the process. You can see a list of our Metroland newspapers
here.

The date shown under a notice headline is the date the event took place and it does not necessarily reflect the date a notice ran in the newspaper. For
example, if a parent is listing the birth of their child in their local newspaper, one week after the child was born, the parent will still list the actual
birth date as the event date, September 17, 2008, even though the announcement is scheduled to run in the newspaper on September 24, 2008.

Can I use the calendar on LifeNews.ca to search by date?
Absolutely! Simply click on the calendar icon and select the date you are interested in browsing. Once you have selected your date, click on 'start search'
or 'submit' button to access your search results. You should note that the calendar search date is always defaulted to today’s date and the results are
shown based on the date the notice ran in the newspaper.
