HOOGSTEEN, Reverend Mark Timothy Unexpectedly, at home in Burlington, on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at the age of 44. Mark, loving husband of Katherine (Little) Hoogsteen. Proud and loving father of Timothy, Daniel, and Samuel. Cherished son of Wayne and Aafke (Hovius) Hoogsteen. Beloved brother of Karen Hoogsteen and her husband Barry Schachter. Dear son-in-law of Wallace and Audrey Little, brother-in-law of Jane and Pep Philpott, Judy and Paul Boivin, and Karen and Rob Congram. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mark was the minister at Knox Presbyterian Church in Burlington and will be dearly missed by the congregation. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stop light north of QEW) Burlington, (905-632-3333) on Tuesday, May 31st from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 461 Elizabeth Street, Burlington, on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. (parking available at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street). Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Burlington.
