PETROVIC, George (Gabriel) October 31, 1959 - October 1, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Petrovic in his 50th year. Dearly beloved son of Anka and the late Marko Petrovic and dearest brother of Joseph and his wife Teresa. Loving nephew of Ivan (Marija) Vukovic, Vera Vukovic, the late Marija Murkovic (Mile), the late Katica Valcic (Peter) and Anka Mesic and family. Dearest cousin of Mariana Basic (Mike), Tone (Michelle) Valcic and Anka Vukovic. Dear friend of Mike Robis, Paul Stanitis and Bob Baxter. Special friend of Mandy and Joey. Special thanks to the staff of Ward 4Z at McMaster, Nurse Christina, Bishop Bertie, Art Sidmour and Father Peter. The family will receive friends at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Cross Croatian Church on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
