DUNN, Donald Dickson With much sorrow we announce the passing of Donald on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband and friend of Marion (nee Hunter) for 55 years. Devoted son of the late Wilbert and Hazel Dunn of Kirkwall. Dearest father of Paul and Jan Dunn, David Dunn, Beverley Young and husband Errol, Gary Dunn and his wife Teri. Loving grandfather of Nathan, Kayleigh, Meaghan Dunn, Jeff Topham and his wife Kendra, Derek Topham, Brandon Dunn, Kirstyn, Curtis and Quinn Young and great-grandfather to Bristol and Cale Topham and Brooklyn Pope. Survived by sister Margaret Paddock and her husband Stewart of Puslinch and brother Ken Dunn and his wife Bonnie of Goderich. Donald was born and raised in Kirkwall, Ontario, worked as a mechanic at Barrett’s Engines and Galt City Garage, taught auto mechanics at Southwood Secondary School for 25 years and took early retirement in 1987. He dedicated himself endlessly to family, community, mechanics and farming and loved to worship and serve the Lord. At his request no visitation. Friends and family are invited to a Committal Service at KIRKWALL CEMETERY on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service and Celebration of Don's life at CALVARY ASSEMBLY, 127 Hespeler Rd., Cambridge at 11 a.m. Reception to follow, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Teen Challenge, Visionledd or charity of your choice.
